Spanish Influences in the French Quarter
Hello loves! If you've been keeping up with the blog you know I just returned from a wonderful getaway trip to New Orleans! Everyone knows the Crescent City was founded by the French, but I brought a little Spanish influence down to the bayou. I'm not one for chokers--my friends know this. But I couldn't pass up this textured, floral beauty that goes perfectly with my favorite summer culottes! The off shoulder blouse and those canary yellow fringed earrings add a dose of traditional Spanish flair that I just love. Fun fact: Paris may be the fashion capital of the world but the title once belonged to Spain! They were one of the first to introduce rich hues of golds, reds, pinks, and yellows to their everyday wardrobe when the Andalusian style dress (more commonly known as flamenco dresses) became popular. The more you know!
