Thanksgiving Look Pt. 2
Favoring fall florals for your feasting? So much alliteration, I love it. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with a vibrant print! Thanksgiving Look Pt. 2 is here! Here’s the scoop:
First of all, this is technically a spring skirt, but I wouldn’t be doing it any favors to leave it hanging up in my close for the other 3 seasons of the year. Add a dark sweater, some black tights, and voila —you have yourself a fall/winter skirt instead. Florals don’t need to be hibernated like a bear once it turns cold. Adding winter pieces into the mix help to create the illusion that you just plucked it off the latest department store hanger.
This bell sleeve top has quickly become a staple piece in my closet because it really just goes with everything. I’ve linked an almost identical one for y’all since the top I’m wearing can be found in H&M stores only (bummer, I know!).
I love the idea of a full and feminine skirt for Thanksgiving. It truly makes a statement for the holidays! Florals are always an unexpected print around this time of year, so if you’re looking to make an entrance (as I always am..) then this look is for you. The berry, red, and pink hues in this skirt really offer a stark contrast to the neutral colors you find around this time of year.
You could easily switch up the ankle strap heels for peep-toe booties or a pair of flats. But let’s be honest, my shoes are coming off either way after I’ve stuffed myself full of second helpings at the table!
P.S. it was an extremely windy day when we shot this ‘fit. Notice how I’m touching my hair in almost every picture to keep it tame!
