It’s SaturYAY! I can’t think of a more festive way to celebrate the weekend than this velvet turban and duster combo. Turbans are making such a come back and I’m over here waving my hands like finally...
The particular one I’m sporting was a vintage find in Camden during my London travels, but I’ve linked plenty of similar ones! Luckily, they aren’t as difficult to find anymore. I remember searching for hours years ago trying to find the right one. Amazing how the trends come and go, and eventually you can find just what you need!
Once again, Zara has created a piece that I absolutely cannot live without now. This striped velvet duster is my new favorite addition to anything I’m wearing. Weather it’s a simple tee and leggings for around the house, or a more put together look like this one, a bold duster is an important element to any wardrobe. I paired it with a classic turtleneck (with some fun embellished fur cuffs!) and my go-to high waisted skinnies for a 70s feel.
And don’t get me started on these bright red booties from Top Shop! Seriously the perfect pop of color to any outfit. While I was in London I wore everything from skinnies and a sweater for hitting the streets by day to tights and a dress for a formal dinner at night. The heel is perfectly comfortable for walking, but I would strongly recommend sizing up as the fit is quite narrow.
My “bucket purse” is perfect for dressing up or down and I just love the mess out of it! The burgundy velvet is so elegant, and I’m a sucker for anything with a bow. It lends a certain sophistication to the bohemian features of this outfit.
I’ll be styling the separate pieces of this outfit more throughout the winter, but the entire look is linked below for you! Don’t forget, you can always click on the “Shop” tab to view my Like to Know It profile and follow me directly for instant access to where to shop my clothes!
Have an adventurous but safe New Years Eve, everyone! Remember, Uber and Lyft are the ways to go if you’re indulging in alcohol tomorrow night. No need to be behind the wheel and put yourself and others at risk <3
